MOL's Upgraded Haiphong Container Service Offers The Fastest Transits from Northern Vietnam to North America

TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President: Akimitsu Ashida) today announced the launch of the new Vietnam-Hong Kong Loop 2 (VH2) linking Haiphong, Hong Kong, and Chiwan in Shenzhen, China. When combined with quick connections to MOL's transpacific services at Hong Kong and Chiwan, the VH2 will give customers the fastest transit times from northern Vietnam to North America.

MOL will offer two sailings per week between Haiphong and Hong Kong with its new VH2 and existing RSK services. Together with the recently announced VH1 service between Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong, MOL offers the industry's fastest transport from major ports in Vietnam to North America, Japan, and Europe. MOL continues to enhance its service network, positioning Vietnam, a rapidly growing area, as a strategic market in its container transport operations.
