Update (4) - MOL Pledges to Support Relief Efforts for Typhoon Afflicted People in the Philippines

TOKYO - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President: Koichi Muto) today announced that the MOL Group had collected more than $130,000 from executives, employees, and seafarers, which funds would be administrated by Magsaysay MOL Marine, Inc.* (Magsaysay-MOL) in relief of afflicted people of Typhoon Haiyen and reconstruction of the afflicted area. The group pledges to continually support relief efforts through visits to afflicted areas by personnel from Magsaysay-MOL and transport of relief supplies by MOL containerships.

MOL Group has given and is giving support to the afflicted area and people since the typhoon hit central Philippines in November.

The group expresses its heartfelt sympathy to those afflicted by the typhoon, and hopes they will be able to return to normal life as soon as possible.

The MOL Group, as responsible corporate citizens, consistently works to contribute to communities, and aims to sustainably grow together with society.
