The MOL Training Center (STIP-Indonesia) was established in December 2004, in cooperation with Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran (STIP), the Maritime Higher Education and Training Institute of Jakarta, Indonesia. |

In August 2007, a PC-Based LNG Cargo Simulator and Turbine Simulator were installed. With, the existing LNG Deck Piping Panel, this made practical LNG training possible at the Centre. Currently, an LNG Familiarization Course and LNG Carrier Standard Course certified by DNV are run. |

| The other training which are being carried out using the facilities in STIP, are: Deck Skill, Lathe Course, Welding Course, ECDIS, BRM, and Marine Electricity. The other courses which have been planned to implement, are: Crowd and Crisis Management Course, Engine Room Resources Management Course, CBT (Computer Based Training) Course, etc. |
