Japan-Hong Kong/Jakarta/Straits HS3 Service under Way

MOL has opened the Japan-Hong Kong/Jakarta/Straits HS3 service to meet increasing demand for shipping between Japan and other Asian nations. The new service also adds a call at Yokkaichi, Japan.

Four full containerships have been assigned to the new service to provide direct connections between Japan and the rapidly growing markets of Indonesia and Vietnam. The service offers the industry’s fastest connections from Osaka to Southeast Asian nations.

MOL also provides the fastest transit time in the industry from Japan/Hong Kong to West Asia and the Middle East with connections in Singapore.

Along with our existing CHS1 and Asia-Europe services Loop1, MOL provides a wide variety of service between Japan and Hong Kong/Singapore/Port Kelang to meet an extensive range of customer needs.

    Osaka → Yokkaichi → Yokohama → Tokyo → Hong Kong → Singapore → Port Kelang → Jakarta → Port Kelang → Singapore → Cai Mep → Hong Kong → Osaka

Asia-South Africa Service Upgraded with Call at Nacala

MOL established the new Asia-South Africa service (ASA) in April. Together with existing MZX service, the new routes enhance our network linking Asia and South Africa and help us meet diversified customer needs.

Asia-Mexico, West Coast South America Services Consolidated; Larger Vessels Assigned

MOL upgraded the Asia-Mexico and WCSA service (CWL) at the end of April, consolidating two loops (WL1 and WL2) and allocating larger Over Panamax vessels to provide more stable service.

The ports of Buenaventura (Colombia) and Guayaquil (Ecuador), which used to be calls on the WL2 loop, are now served by the feeder service linking Mexico and the South American West Coast.
