MOL Group Logistics Company Opens Branch
in Suzhou, China
TOKYO - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL, President
Kunio Suzuki) today announced that MOL Group
company Shanghai Longfei International Logistics
Co., Ltd. has opened a branch in Suzhou,
China.
The MOL Group and the China National Foreign
Trade Transport Group Beijing Company established
Shanghai Longfei International Logistics
Co., Ltd. in 1997 to meet increasing demand
for logistics service in China. Since then,
the company has enjoyed exceptional growth
as foreign companies, including Japanese
manufacturers, have entered Shanghai and
its surrounding areas. The opening of the
Suzhou branch will further strengthen client
service and marketing activities in the Huadong
region.
Shanghai Longfei has acquired licenses for
handling air cargo and exhibition goods,
as well as an international forwarding license.
The Suzhou branch works closely with the
headquarters in Shanghai to meet various
logistics needs including air and sea cargo
forwarding and inland transport. Shanghai
Longfei is also working with MOL Group logistics
companies and their networks in China and
overseas, to provide an even wide range of
services for local customers.
