MOL Joins Xiamen (Amoy), China - Japan Service

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) has announced that it is to start offering the fastest and highest quality service from Xiamen (Amoy) to Japan through a space-charter from OOCL. The move, aimed at meeting increasing customer demand for growing China-Japan trade, will take effect in middle of November.

The new service will offer fixed day weekly calling at Xiamen (Amoy) <Sat/Sun>, Tokyo <Wed/Thu>, Kobe <Sat/Sat> and Osaka <Sat/Sun>.
The service will start with OOCL Ability V.105N, which sails from Xiamen (Amoy) on November 17.

By implementation of Xiamen (Amoy)-Japan new service, MOL will be able to further enforce service network of Intra-Asia, which is one of the fastest growing trade in the world.
