TOKYO - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL, President: Akimitsu Ashida) announced
the company organized an Emergency Committee for Enhancement of Operational
Safety to be subordinate to the standing Operational Safety Committee (Chairman:
President Akimitsu Ashida) as follows, in view of recent incidents, effective
on September 29, 2006.
