McMOL Conducts Cadet Recruitment 2025 at Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya

McMOL has once again taken a strategic step in developing maritime human capital through the Cadet Recruitment 2025 program held on 8–9 September 2025 at Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya (Poltekpel Surabaya). This program is part of the company’s commitment to selecting high-quality cadets who will be given opportunities to undertake onboard training on vessels operated under McMOL.

The recruitment activities were conducted directly by the Director of McMOL, accompanied by the management team and McMOL’s recruitment team. The presence of one of the company’s top leaders demonstrates McMOL’s strong dedication to ensuring that cadet candidates meet competency standards aligned with international maritime operational requirements.

Throughout the selection process, participants underwent a series of interviews and competency assessments designed to evaluate their technical readiness, operational knowledge, and professional potential as future ship officers. Through hands-on exposure, this program aims to help cadets strengthentheir practical skills and enhance their understanding of modern maritime operations.
The event drew high enthusiasm, with 47 participants taking part in the selection process. Of these, only 4 candidates successfully passed Exam, comprising:
- 1 Deck Cadet
- 1 Engine Cadet
- 2 ETO Cadets

These results reflect McMOL’s commitment to ensuring that only the most qualified candidates are selected and prepared to continue onboard training and pursue professional careers in the international maritime industry.

Through this initiative, McMOL hopes to continue opening opportunities for young Indonesian seafarers, providing career certainty after graduation, and developing highly competent human resources who meet global standards. This program also serves as concrete evidence of McMOL’s contribution to supporting maritime education and nurturing the next generation of seafarers.
