Following the successful Cadet Recruitment event at Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya (Poltekpel Surabaya) on 8–9 September 2025, McMOL continued its recruitment efforts by organizing the Cadet Recruitment 2025 program at Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang (PIP Semarang) on 10–11 September 2025. This initiative represents McMOL’s ongoing commitment to identifying high-quality cadet candidates who are prepared to undertake onboard training on vessels operated under McMOL. The recruitment activities were conducted directly by McMOL Director, accompanied by the management team and the McMOL recruitment team. His direct involvement underscores the company’s strong dedication to ensuring that the selection process meets international maritime competency standards.

Throughout the selection process, cadet candidates participated in a series of interviews and competency assessments designed to evaluate their technical readiness, operational understanding, and professional potential as future ship officers. This hands-on, experience-based approach is expected to help cadets strengthen their practical skills and deepen their knowledge of the modern maritime industry. The event received positive enthusiasm, with 31 participants taking part in the selection process. From this group, McMOL selected 3 outstanding cadets who met the company’s competency criteria: - 1 Deck Cadet - 2 Engine Cadets These results reaffirm McMOL’s commitment to selecting only the most qualified candidates who demonstrate readiness, discipline, and the capabilities required to pursue onboard training and advance their professional careers in the global maritime sector.
Through this program, McMOL aims to continue providing opportunities for young Indonesian seafarers, offering career certainty after graduation, and preparing highly competent maritime professionals who meet international standards. This recruitment initiative also reflects McMOL’s ongoing contribution to supporting maritime education and developing the next generation of seafarers.
