McMOL officially concluded its Cadet Recruitment 2025 series with the final selection event held at Sekolah TinggiIlmu Pelayaran (STIP) Jakarta on 25–26 September 2025. This event marked the closing chapter of the recruitment program, following successful earlier sessions at Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya (8–9 September 2025) and PoliteknikIlmu Pelayaran Semarang (10–11 September 2025).
The program reinforces McMOL’s strong commitment to nurturing highly qualified seafarers who will be given opportunities to undertake onboard training across McMOL-operated vessels. With the high standards required in global maritime operations, McMOL continues to ensure that each stage of cadet selection is conducted with depth, precision,
and integrity.
The recruitment activities at STIP Jakarta were led directly by McMOL Director, supported bythe management team and the McMOL recruitment division. His presence added significant value to the selection process and underscored how critical cadet development is to the company’s long-term operational strategy.
Over the two-day assessment,
candidates underwent a series of structured interviews and competency evaluations designed to measure their technical readiness, operational understanding, interpersonal abilities, and overall potential as future ship officers. This direct, experience-based approach enabled McMOL to thoroughly assess each participant’s discipline, adaptability, and preparedness for the demands of the maritime profession.



The event was met with strong enthusiasm, with 41 participants taking part in the selection process. From this group, McMOL identified 15 top-performing cadets who met the company’s competency standards, consisting of: - 8 Deck Cadets - 7 Engine Cadets The selection of these 15 cadets highlights McMOL’s dedication to choosing only the most capable individuals who are fully prepared to progress into onboard training and pursue a professional career in the global maritime industry.
As the 2025 recruitment series concludes, McMOL remains committed to expanding opportunities for young Indonesian seafarers, offering career assurance after graduation, and contributing to the development of maritime human resources who meet international standards. This initiative also reflects McMOL’s continued support for maritime education institutions and the advancement of Indonesia’s seafaring talent.
