McMOL successfully held the first-ever MOL Seafarer Family Day Event, a program specially designed to strengthen the relationship between seafarers, their families, the McMOL office, and the ship managers. The event took place at Discovery Ancol, Jakarta, and was filled with high enthusiasm from all participants.
The event was attended by important management representatives, including Senior Managing Executive Officer MOL Headquarters Captain Mitsuhisa Tanimoto, Top Management of HUMI Group, ship managers from MOL LNG Ship Management Pte. Ltd. and MOL LNG Transport Co., Ltd., as well as Top Management of McMOL. A total of 80 participants took partin this event, consisting of 40 seafarers, 20 spouses, and 20 children.
The event began at 06.30 WIB with a Fun Walk involving all participants, the committee, invited guests, and ship managers. The route started from the Discovery Ancol hotel area towards Eco Park, circling the area, and then returning to the hotel. The relaxed yet warm atmosphere made the Fun Walk an opening moment that strengthened interaction among participants.

Upon returning to the hotel, all participants gathered for breakfast together to restore their energy before continuing with indoor activities. After breakfast, the event moved into the indoor session with various interactive and educational activities.
The indoor session featured various games designed for all family members, from children to seafarer spouses and the seafarers themselves. Each game was crafted to encourage teamwork, create laughter, and build moments of togetherness. The event was also enlivened by:

- Magic show performances
- Music entertainment
- Family games involving allfamily members

As the closing activity, participants received various attractive door prizes, making everyone leave the event with joy and positive impressions. In addition to entertainment, the event also provided added value through two educational sessions, namely:

- Financial investment education
- Health education

These materials were delivered interactively to ensure participants could easily understand the importance of financial planning and health in thelives of seafarer families.

Through the implementation of the Seafarer Family Day Event, McMOL hopes to strengthen the connection between seafarers and their families with the McMOL office and ship managers. This event also serves as a form of appreciation for the dedication of seafarers who work far from their families, while reaffirming McMOL’s commitment to always prioritizing the well-being of seafarers and their families.
