Owned-operated Terminals Play a Key Role in Container Transport Value Chain

Rotterdam World Gateway (The Netherlands)

MOL operates 10 container terminals in Japan and overseas (Four in Japan, three in the U.S., one in Thailand, one in Vietnam, and one in The Netherlands).
In late 2014, TraPac Los Angeles became the first automated container terminal on the U.S. West Coast. In September 2015, we opened a new fully automated container terminal in Rotterdam featuring state-of-the art systems and equipment.
We take a proactive stance in expanding our owned-operated terminal network, which is key to enhancing transport value chain while making our operations safer, more efficient, more reliable, and more environmentally friendly.
