MOL Charitable Trust Participates in Ceremony for NGO's Donation of Sports Equipment

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, "La Chaux Mahebourg Academy Football Club (LCMA)" (Note 1), a local NGO funded by the MOL Charitable Trust (Note 2), held a ceremony to donate football equipment to local children. Mr. Goro Yamashita, Managing Director of MOL (Mauritius) Ltd., who also serves as Chairman of the Trust's Enforcers Committee, was on hand for the event.

LCMA is a football team based in the Cité La Chaux, an area of Mahebourg, southeast Mauritius, established to help young people develop healthy lifestyles through sports, and it has five qualified instructors and a total of 62 members aged from 6 to 15 years old. At this ceremony, football equipment, including uniforms, football shoes, and balls, were handed over to the team members. Club President Percy Keisler remarked, "This project aims not only to instill a passion for sports in young people, but also to give them the strength to face everyday challenges." Through the Trust, MOL will continue supporting activities that reach children, the next generation of Mauritius.
