Distributing Christmas Gifts to Children

On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, MOL (Mauritius) Ltd. collaborated with Celero Ltd. (Note 1) to distribute Christmas gifts to children in Ville-Noire and La Flora, in the southeastern part of Mauritius. Among those in attendance for the gift distribution were Mr. Bobby Hurreeram, Minister of National Infrastructure and Community development, Mr. Stephan Toussaint, Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation, and Mr. Shuichiro Kawaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Mauritius.

On Monday, December 26, 2022, MOL (Mauritius) Ltd., also along with Precious Plastic Mauritius (Note 2), distributed Christmas gifts to several families living in Cite Tole, a vulnerable neighborhood in Mahebourg, in the southeast of the island. They offeres small toys, cookies, cakes and other sweets, and basic needs such as sugar and cooking oil.

It was a real pleasure to see the bright smiles of children at both events.
MOL will continue to work with local organizations to make further contributions to the local community.

(Note 1) Celero Ltd., an independent logistics group based in Mauritius serves as MOL's local agent.

(Note 2) Precious Plastic Mauritius is an NGO established in 2019, and based in the Pointe d'Esny, Mahebourg, that seeks to provide recycling solutions by collecting waste and at the same time cleaning beaches and mangrove sites. In addition, its volunteers walk around neighborhoods with collecting plastic trash for recycling into colorful items such as coasters.
