MOL Charitable Trust Selects 4th Year Projects for Funding

The MOL Charitable Trust (Note 1) announced on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the selection of 15 projects for funding in the fourth call for applications (Note 2) in a ceremony held in Mahebourg.

The Trust received about 90 applications for the fourth round of funding. The Trust's Steering Committee followed a rigorous screening process, and made its final selections at a meeting on Monday, December 2, at MOL Head Office. Projects were judged based on their relevance to the three priority areas of the MOL Group's social contribution activity policy: the marine environment, next-generation human resources development, and solutions to local issues, and 15 projects were ultimately selected in the fields of environmental protection, agriculture, contribution to the community, and educational support.

The ceremony emphasized the importance of promoting partnerships beyond the community to realize a sustainable society, and representatives of each project engaged in lively exchanges with each other. The Trust will continue to report on the activities of each project in its newsletter and on this website.

Through the Trust, MOL will continue to support environmental protection activities in Mauritius and the empowerment of local communities, as well as the realization of sustainable local communities in Mauritius.
