MOL Charitable Trust: Independence Day Celebration with children of Bonheur Associé aux Enfants
MOL Charitable Trust (the "Trust") (Note 1) took part in the Mauritius Independence Day celebration organized by the NGO Bonheur Associé aux Enfants (Note 2), which receives a grant from the Trust. The organization supports children from vulnerable backgrounds in Mauritius. Mr. Yasuo Suzuki, Chairperson of the Trust and Representative of MOL (Mauritius) Ltd, attended the event. The programme currently supports around 70 children, and the celebration brought together the children, along with volunteers and teachers who are involved in the programme throughout the year.
The celebration was filled with music, dance and a strong sense of national pride, providing the children with an opportunity to express themselves and share joyful moments together. Such occasions play an important role in fostering self-confidence, a sense of belonging, and positive social connections among young participants.
Through the Trust, MOL continues to support initiatives that contribute to community development and the well-being of children and families in Mauritius, working together with local NGOs to create inclusive and supportive environments for future generations.
(Note 1) For information on the Trust, please refer to the press release dated June 21, 2021, and "the page of Funding" website.
