On Friday, June 20, a graduation ceremony was held to celebrate 50 women who successfully completed a Women's Empowerment Programme delivered by the NGO Revey Twa Fam (Note 1) with grant funding from the MOL Charitable Trust (the Trust) (Note 2) under the Third Call for Proposal 2023-24 (CFP3). The graduation ceremony was held at the National Women Development Centre with guest of honour Mrs Vandanah Jodhoa, Head of the Gender Unit at the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Welfare.

TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that effective August 18, MOL Chairman Junichiro Ikeda's termination of tenure as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius in Tokyo (Note 1), following the opening of the Mauritian Embassy in Japan by the government of the Republic of Mauritius.

On July 14, the Mauritius National Day was held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, and MOL Chairman Junichiro Ikeda attended the ceremony in his capacity as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius in Tokyo (Note 1).
