MOL Training Vessel: SPIRIT OF MOL
TS 'Spirit of MOL
The "SPIRIT OF MOL" is MOL's first training vessel, and is a core component of the company's efforts to reinforce safety issues in vessel operations.

Overall Length: 106m
Breadth: 16m
Draft: 5.80m
Cross tonnage: 4,878 tons

Bridge Watch Training
The SPIRIT OF MOL has a training bridge on the floor above the real bridge, a unique feature of this training vessel. On board are ten full-time instructors, who provide education and practical training to up to 180 trainees per session.

MOL cadets who are at the same level in their training program will train together onboard. They come from many different nations (Philippines, India, Russia, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.), and will undergo training in basic seafarer skills, attitudes, and awareness under an intensive curriculum exclusive to our training vessel.

Training in Class Room
Working in a cross-cultural atmosphere will not only help cadets master maritime skills, but also encourage them to develop a stronger sense of pride and purpose within a team framework. The SPIRIT OF MOL primarily navigates between the Philippines and India, with onboard training lasting four to six months.
