Bulkships LNG Carriers
Update: 5/22/09

MOL works aggressively to build its liquefied natural gas (LNG) business, taking advantage of decades of experience as the world's No.1 LNG transporter and building on trusting relationships with its business partners. Our LNG carriers serve not only Japan, but also South Korea, Taiwan, the U.S., India, and other major consuming countries around the globe.

<Business Performance during FY2008>
Our company is generally able to secure stable earnings in the LNG carrier business based on long-term contracts. However, profits decreased in FY2008 due to the appreciating yen.
