MOL and DELMAS to Launch New Asia-East Africa Direct Service

DELMAS and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines(MOL) today announced the introduction of a new joint service linking Asia and East Africa, as a seamless continuation of their existing joint service currently provided by MOL, DELMAS and P&O NEDLLOYD.

The new direct service will be operated with five 700 TEU-class geared vessels and will provide a fixed day weekly service and the trade's fastest transit times between Asia and East Africa. With this significant upgrading of the service, DELMAS and MOL will better meet our customers' expectations and will strive to remain their carriers of choice.

The new service will call at following ports:
Port Kelang - Singapore - Colombo - Male(*)/ Mahe (*) - Mombasa -Tanga
- Dar Es Salaam - Mahe (*) - Colombo - Port Kelang
(*) Bi-weekly calls

The new service will start with EAX Sincerity's sailing from Port Kelang on April 24th, 2006
