TOKYO - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) recently concluded the "MOL Global Management College (MGMC) 2024," held from July to December 2024. This program is a key part of our Human Capital development initiatives.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, MGMC, launched in 2014, aligns with our "Human Capital Vision". The program aims to cultivate talent capable of driving future management strategies within our diverse human capital and organization.
This year, 17 trainees from the global MOL Group, representing 10 countries including Japan, participated in the program. They travelled to Tokyo, Mumbai and London to attend lectures on leadership development, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, they engaged in dialogues with management in each city to deepen their understanding of regional strategies based on "BLUE ACTION 2035".
Through this leadership journey and their final presentations to executives on "What should we do to realize, implement & execute BLUE ACTION 2035?", participants gained valuable insights into leadership while collaborating with peers from diverse backgrounds.
MOL Group has established a "Human Capital Vision" and "HC Action 1.0," to support our management plan "BLUE ACTION 2035" and is actively investing in human capital.
We will continue to focus on developing the next generation of leaders in the MOL group and globally through various learning opportunities, aiming to nurture human capital who can create value in a diverse business environment.
