MOL to Appoint Multi-Shipping as Agent in 4 European Nations.

TOKYO - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL, President: Akimitsu Ashida) today announced that the company will appoint Multi-Shipping d.o.o. as the agent for its liner services in four rapidly growing European nations - Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Serbia & Montenegro.

Multi-Shipping has its main business center in the port of Koper, Slovenia, a major logistics center for Central and Eastern Europe and a key port on the Adriatic Sea.

MOL enhanced liner services covering these four European nations by entrusting Multi-Shipping as its shipping agent. At the same time, MOL established a route that serves neighboring Hungary, Slovakia, and Southern Austria via Koper, in addition to the current services via ports in Northern Europe. The company's upgraded services will more closely meet customer needs that continue to diversify in the future.
