MOL TO OFFER DIRECT SERVICE FROM VIETNAM TO USWC

Tokyo - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL, President: Akimitsu Ashida) has announced plans to offer direct service from Vietnam to the US West Coast. The company’s Pacific Southwest Express (PSX) service will begin calling on Cai Mep in South Vietnam effective June 4, 2009.
With the addition of Cai Mep, MOL will further increase its direct coverage of key ports in Asia. The MOL operated PSX service will call at Tan Cang Cai Mep Terminal, located approximately 50 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, in the province of Ba Ria Vung Tau. The PSX service will provide comprehensive coverage of the Pacific Southwest with calls at the ports of Los Angeles and Oakland.

By utilizing Vietnam's state-of-the-art Tan Cang Cai Mep Terminal, MOL can provide its customers with efficient, reliable service to this growing economic region.
