MOL Receives EVO's Top Award for Container Service

TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President: Koichi Muto) today announced that the company received the "Best Performing Container Liner Shipping Company" award sponsored by Eigen Verladers Organisatie (EVO)* of the Netherlands.

The award was based on a joint assessment by EVO and Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, evaluating containership companies on 21 items such as reliability of delivery times, the value and the transparency of prices charged, slot availability and accuracy the documents. MOL received high assessments in all evaluation items and was selected as the best shipping company.

On September 10, representatives from EVO member companies and others from the Ports and Harbor Bureau attended the ceremony which was held at the EVO headquarters in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. MOL Executive Officer Toshiya Konishi attended the event and received the award on behalf of the company.

Encouraged by this award, MOL continually strives to improve customer services.

*Eigen Verladers Organisatie (EVO)
Non-profit organization based in the Netherlands, comprising some 20,000 corporate members such as major manufacturers and logistics companies in the Netherlands.
