TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that it held the "MOL Safety Conference 2025" from February through April at five locations (please refer to the chart below) for seafarers responsible for MOL Group's safe operation. Starting this year, Seafarers from PT McMOL Crewing International, a joint venture crewing company for LNG vessels established in Indonesia last year, were also included, bringing the total number of participants across five global locations to 781.

The Safety Conference has been held every year since 2007 with the main purpose of fostering a Safety Culture. This year, we held the Conference with the theme "MY GOAL, ZERO HARM."

In the conference, participants exchanged views on the risks and unsafe behaviors associated with onboard operations, using actual onboard activities as discussion material. This helped deepen their understanding of safety management onboard.
In addition, participants discussed various aspects of enhancing safety and quality, including raising awareness of cybersecurity risks associated with the increasing use of onboard ICT systems and promoting the prevention of harassment onboard.
