TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that it held a five-day liaison meeting for shipowners and ship management companies on September 12 and from September 16-19. During the plenary session on the first day, the participants discussed safety operations systems to protect vessels and crewmembers from geopolitical risks as well as initiatives on next-generation fuels. During the following four days, they met in subcommittees to exchange information on key elements of operations, discuss case studies of incidents involving various ship types, and deepen mutual understanding of safe operations, operational efficiency, and environmental responses.

As in last year's event, the plenary session was held in a hybrid format, combining face-to-face meetings with an online webcast, with over 200 participants from 76 companies.
