TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Jotaro Tamura) today announced that as a social contribution through the shareholder benefit program, MOL will match the gifts of shareholders who selected the "Donation Course," which is the item in the Shareholder Benefit Gift Catalog (Note) program, and on behalf of shareholders who did not apply by the application deadline, to designated charitable organizations.
The company is pleased to announce that it has donated through the fiscal year 2024 shareholder special benefit gift catalog, treated as donations for which applications were closed on October 31, 2025, to three organizations: the Japan Committee for UNICEF, which supports children around the world; Peace Winds Japan, which provides assistance to disaster-stricken areas and conflict zones; and WWF Japan, an organization engaged in environmental conservation - including marine initiatives that are closely tied to the MOL Group's business foundation - as well as Ishikawa Prefecture.
Under MOL's Corporate Mission-"From the blue oceans, we sustain people's lives and ensure a prosperous future," the MOL Group highlights the phrase "Seize the initiative in social issues and take responsibility for your behavior" in its Code of Conduct. The group will continue not only to contribute to society through its business activities and work to address various social issues, but also to earnestly engage in social contribution activities that go beyond the framework of its business.
