(MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced the company's selection as a 'Yearbook Member' of 'The Sustainability Yearbook 2023' issued by U.S.-based S&P Global, Inc., the world's leading research and evaluation firm in the field of corporate sustainability. The Yearbook Member designation recognizes companies with outstanding sustainability initiatives.
S&P Global evaluates the sustainability efforts of the world's leading companies from governance & economic, environmental, and social perspectives, and every year, selects the top 15% of the top-rated companies in each industry as 'Yearbook Members' for inclusion in 'The Sustainability Yearbook'. 'The 2023 Sustainability Yearbook' recognizes 708 of the 7,800 companies evaluated by S&P Global as Yearbook Members.
The MOL Group has identifies Sustainability Issues (materiality) to prioritize through its businesses, and is pursuing initiatives in all areas of environment, social, and governance (ESG) based on the "MOL Sustainability Plan."
