MOL Names New Member to Advisory Board

Tokyo-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that Rajesh Madhavan Unni, Chairman of Synergy Marine Group, has been newly appointed to MOL's Advisory Board (Note), which was established to gather insights from external experts on high-priority areas, particularly in the context of management strategy development and risk management.

Unni brings extensive experience and deep expertise in the global shipping industry, with a strong track record in ship management, digital technology adoption, and sustainability initiatives. With Unni's appointment, MOL will benefit from strategic guidance informed by a global perspective, helping accelerate its efforts to shape the next generation of the shipping industry.

Graduated from Harvard University's Advanced Management Program (AMP) and co-founded Alpha Ori Technologies in 2017. Has held key positions at several international maritime organizations, including Director at Windward, Advisor at Alsym Energy, member of the Lloyd's Register South Asia Advisory Committee, and member of the Global Maritime Forum
