MOL Welcomes Students from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
- Discussions on the Shipping Industry and MOL's Initiatives -

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (President & CEO: Jotaro Tamura; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "MOL") welcomed 20 students studying international commodity trading at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore to its headquarters.

During the visit, the students toured the Safety Operation Supporting Center (SOSC) and attended lectures by MOL employees on the MOL Group Environmental Vision and the LNG business. Three employees from MOL's Singapore-based subsidiary, MOL (Asia Oceania) Pte. Ltd., also participated and engaged in a lively exchange of views with the students. The students also gave a presentation on how the MOL Group can create value beyond decarbonization and communicate that value to customers, investors, and future talent as the shipping industry transforms toward a sustainable future. They approached MOL's sustainability not only from the perspective of decarbonization, but also from that of developing and empowering people, proposing that the company communicate its value to a broad range of stakeholders by strengthening the development of young talent and enhancing external communications. Following the presentation, MOL employees and the students exchanged candid views on working for the MOL Group and on corporate careers more broadly. The discussion continued beyond the scheduled time, providing both sides with a valuable opportunity to gain new perspectives and insights.

MOL will continue to welcome visits from students in Japan and overseas, creating opportunities to deepen their understanding of the shipping industry while contributing to the development of the next generation who will shape the future.
