TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that it invited a group of 10 MOL Ambassadors (Note 1)- elementary, junior high and high school students who will lead the next generation-to the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, and at the MOL exhibition booth in the "Future City Pavilion", provided hands-on learning using a large model of the Wind Hunter (Note 2), a next-generation zero-emission vessel that utilizes wind power to generate hydrogen. The MOL Ambassadors also visited the MOL-supported Mauritius pavilion (Note 3), and learned about the country's nature and culture, including a donated aquarium that recreates the seas of Mauritius, raising their awareness of environmental conservation.
MOL pursues "BLUE ACTION MOL", striving to balance corporate growth with a sustainable society, and has incorporated "for ALL", its intention to pursue social contribution activities, into these words, setting the MOL Group's social contribution activities as "BLUE ACTION for ALL". Activities like welcoming the LMS students represent MOL's initiatives on "next-generation human capital development".
While conveying to the children, who are our future leaders, the importance of protecting the ocean and the appeal of the shipping industry, MOL also provides opportunities to learn about the various technologies that MOL group is developing to address environmental issues and its initiatives to realize a sustainable future, and continues its activities to open up a prosperous future from the blue ocean.

(Note 2) MOL Group is sponsoring the 2025 Expo Osaka, Kansai, Japan's Future Showcase Project "Future Life Expo: Future City" as a bronze partner and exhibiting "Wind Hunter". The actual exhibition features a 4m x 3m model of the Wind Hunter, allowing visitors to enjoy a hands-on attraction where they can intuitively learn how the Wind Hunter navigates using the wind, and how it produces and supplies hydrogen.
