March 11, 2026

TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) announced that it has been designated as a Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category) administered by Nippon Kenko Kaigi (Note) for the eighth consecutive year.

The program recognizes corporations demonstrating outstanding health management practices. It aims to create an environment in which such corporations are publicly recognized by employees, job seekers, business partners, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.

The MOL Group aims to build a robust, vibrant, and innovative organization by supporting the physical and mental well-being of every employee. This foundation strengthens its ability to become the world leader in safe operation and continue developing into a strong and resilient corporate group.

[MOL's major initiatives to promote health management]

MOL restructured its Medical Room and established the Health Administration Center in March 2024 to enhance health maintenance and management functions and to strengthen and improve the system. The center consists of three departments: Health Support, Occupational Health, and Mental Health, each staffed by skilled professionals, to address health measures more effectively and meticulously.
The group supports the physical and mental health of all employees, including those working at sea and overseas, in cooperation with the Human Capital Management Division and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Health Insurance Society.

(Note) Nippon Kenko Kaigi is an organization that takes practical action, in collaboration with private organizations and with full administrative support, to ensure longer, healthier lifespans and to provide appropriate medical care, targeting individuals in Japan, a country facing a dramatically advancing aging society with a low birthrate. The organization aims to encourage workplaces and communities to achieve specific measures to overcome health-related challenges in collaboration with private organizations, e.g., economic associations, healthcare associations and insurers, and municipalities.
