TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Jotaro Tamura) today announced the completion of the "MOL Safety Conference 2026" from February through April, with events at four locations (see the chart below) targeting seafarers responsible for the safe operation of MOL Group vessel.
The MOL Group, as an operator of social infrastructure businesses, recognizes that maintaining safety while delivering a comprehensive range of services is the foundation of its operations and the source of its competitiveness. Since 2007, the group has held the Safety Conference every year to foster a strong safety culture and enhance its safety foundation.

This year, under the main theme "MY GOAL ZERO HARM" and the sub-theme "Safety Is Our Culture," participants discussed ways to eliminate workplace accidents by cultivating a strong safety culture and ensuring safe operations. In addition to traditional risk management for onboard operations, the conference focused on transforming safety awareness by exploring and sharing the underlying factors and success cases behind safe operations. Furthermore, by addressing a wide range of topics -including new technologies such as alternative fuels and initiatives to prevent harassment -the conference further strengthened the group's safety infrastructure and enhanced its culture of prioritizing safety.

This conference is positioned under "Safety Awareness Reform through Mutual Enlightenment," part of the safety foundation outlined in the group's "Safety Vision" and one of the four action plans linked to the sustainability challenges in the MOL Group Management Plan "BLUE ACTION 2035" Phase 2. Through its commitment to safe operations, MOL will continue to protect people, property, and the environment, and deliver value to group stakeholders and society at large.
The MOL Group Sustainability Issues
