MOL Selected as 'Health & Productivity Stock Selection' for 3rd Consecutive Year, and 'White 500 Company in Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program'

TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that it was certified for the 2023 Health & Productivity Stock Selection, which is a joint certification by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), for the third consecutive year. In addition, the company has been designated as the 2023 Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category) for the fifth year in a row, and this year it has been recognized as 'White 500', one of the top 500 enterprises in the program by Nippon Kenko Kaigi (Note 1).

Aiming to promote enterprise efforts in health and productivity management, METI and TSE select exceptional TSE-listed enterprises that are engaged in health and productivity management and present them to investors as attractive investment options.

Nippon Kenko Kaigi also conducts a program called "The Certified Health & Productivity Management Organizations Recognition Program (Large Enterprise Category)." Under this program, large enterprises, not limited to listed firms, are evaluated and the top 500 enterprises that implement outstanding health and productivity management practices in collaboration with insurers are selected as "White 500 Companies."

MOL has seen improvements in various indicators related to its initiatives on health management, which it has been implementing on a continuous basis, and proactively disclosed the related information. In addition, the company has taken various measures to maintain and improve employee health and promote communication in line with the diversification of workstyles. MOL's Human Resources Division, occupational health staff, and the health insurance association work together to provide detailed support and encouragement for employees' mental and physical health.
