Social Issues the Company Confronts

SUCRECUBE Japon Inc. is addressing a fundamental issue:
the lack of electricity and communication infrastructure closes off people's potential.
In Senegal and other parts of West Africa, the company has developed and deployed "TUMIQUI," an off grid solution that integrates solar power generation with communication technologies. By simultaneously providing electricity and high speed communications, the company has demonstrated that it can fundamentally improve on-the-ground issues in fields such as healthcare, education, and agriculture.
Through maintenance systems operated by local subsidiaries and public–private partnerships, the company aims to support the self-reliant development of African countries.

Project Overview

This is an integrated model that combines solar-powered refrigerated containers, food processing units, and digital kiosks, enabling the storage, processing, and export of food products in rural areas of Senegal.
The project aims to establish a universal model that can simultaneously increase farmers' incomes and create local employment, and that can be applied to solving regional challenges both domestically and internationally.
